در نوزدهم سپتامبر سال ۲۰۲۰ ، در دفتر امور خارجه گلستان در گرگان، جلسه ای توسط تیم پروژه معرفت پردیس طوس و با حضور تیم NECOS برگزار شد. این رویداد به عنوان بخشی از پروژه مشترک DEVCO “ارتقا گردشگری مسئولانه برای حفاظت از میراث پایدار” و با هدف افزایش آگاهی ذینفعان اصلی گلستان در مورد اهمیت و ارزش افزوده گردشگری مسئولانه در حفاظت از میراث فرهنگی محلی برگزار شد. ذینفعان اصلی شرکت کننده در این رویداد شامل نماینده وزارت امور خارجه و معاون گردشگری اداره کل در استان گلستان بودند. شرکت کنندگان در مورد ظرفیت و نیازهای استان گلستان، راه های همکاری به منظور ارتقا گردشگری در استان گلستان ، گردشگری به عنوان راهی برای برقراری ارتباط و ایجاد فرصت یادگیری فرهنگ یکدیگر ، تجارب شرکای ایتالیایی و راه هایی ارتقا گردشگری در گلستان، گفت و گو نمودند.

On 19th September 2020, at the Golestan MFA Office in  Gorgan,Golestan province, a meeting was held, facilitated by the Marefat Pardis Toos project team , and attended by the NECOS team. This event was organised as part of the DEVCO co-funded “Promoting Responsible Tourism for Sustainable Heritage Protection” and aimed to raise awareness amongst key stakeholders of Golestan on the importance and value added of responsible tourism in protecting local cultural heritage.  Key stakeholders participating in the event included the Representative of the MFA,  and Deputy Minister of Tourism of the General Administration in Golestan Province. Participants talked about Golestan Province’s capacity and needs , ways of cooperating to promote tourism in Golestan, tourism as a way of communication that provides people a chance to learn about each other’s culture, the Italian best practice, and the ways that could improve tourism in Golestan.
